Podcasting in China
In the context of its new podcast in China, Great British Racing International (GBRI) released the second episode of "The Sport of Kings by GBRI" on April 7 – the first day of 2022 Randox Grand National Festival. This episode titled "The People’s Race" featured Ms. CAO Jingjing, Randox China Representative who talked about their long-standing engagement with this world-famous race meeting. In the absence of live broadcast of the Grand National in China, Chinese horse lovers can still get to know about this exciting race in Britain by listening to this episode which is totally recorded in Chinese.
The podcast series is composed of 7 episodes. The remining episodes will be released every Thursday on Ximalaya, Apple Podcasts and Spotify, until May 12. Other contributors to the podcast series include distinguished guests: Mr. Apollo Ng (Voting Member of Hong Kong Jockey Club), Mr. Han Guocai (Professor of China Agriculture University and expert in horse breeding), Mr. Cai Meng (Vice-President of Chinese Horse Industry Association), Mr. Ben Chan (South East Asia Representative of Tattersalls) and, Dr. Kevin Lin OBE (Lead Chinese interpreter of the Foreign Office of the UK Government).
